Frederick Fennell Conducting Workshop
UMD graduate conductor Joseph Scott recently participated in the 2017 Frederick Fennell Conducting Workshop at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. Joseph spent three days conducting the Eastman Wind Ensemble and worked directly with clinicians Dr. Mark Scatterday, Dr. Donald Hunsberger, and Professor Craig Kirchhoff. Joseph was selected as a tier one participant by the Conductors Guild and conducted Steven Stuck's Funeral Music for Queen Mary and Antonin Dvorak's Serenade for Wind Instruments.
